Horse Sense....

Damn...I love my horses.

They are so unbelievably honest.

So the weather has been so good, the little ones and Az have spent most of their time out around the house, including staying out at night.

Normally they pop themselves back into their paddock for breakfast and dinner, however, this morning Az was like, Yeah, I don't think so...

Ten minutes later he was back in the paddock, but the funniest thing was tonight.

I go out to feed out tonight (after I had let them all out to play today) and there he is, standing at the gate as if that is what is the most normal of the normal and, This is what I always do, Tarns...

Love him.

And talking of clever...

I forgot to put the car in front of the shed today where all the feed lives, in big black bins with clips.

I go in later and Chew has, and I have no idea how, flipped the lid on the feed buckets and had a bit of a munch.

With Ralphy-poo.

With Az.

No bins turned over.

No food on the floor.

Lids sitting next to bins.

Later on he's like, We're all good, Tarns...

Love.  Love.  Love.

And the rest of my tonsils were taken out yesterday.

A day jobby...it was supposed to be overnight, but I hate hospitals with a passion, so unless you are hog-tying me, I'm heading on home.

But all jokes aside, the hospital was nice, the staff were friendly, the nurses were amazing and my Specialist, Anesthetist and Anesthetist's assistant were all freaking fantastic.

Love...love...love the heated blanket in surgery.  Like an ice pack but warm and whoooooooooo!!

Have to say that I hate paying for Health Insurance though....until I need it, then it is worth its weight in gold and I am so pleased I have it.

Anyway, a quiet-ish day today, then full on back tomorrow.

Should have listened when they said Day 3 is brutal.

In fact, when the nurses called me Day 2 to say, It's great you're not taking painkillers, but make sure that you take them tomorrow...

Panadol if pain is a 6, Tramadol if it is an 9.

Lying on couch watching tv wondering if I'm going to die...

****

On the Healing path home now, which is awesome, however, my breath is so bad it would knock a rabid skunk out from 100 metres away haha.

...I wish I was joking.
