30 Sec's on....

I don't know about you but as I get older, I'm all abut the Natural.

After decades of dying my hair, one day I just stopped.

As I did using commerical shampoo and conditioner.

And as I saw my hairdresser today for a micro trim, I now have 4x more hair thickness than I did, ever, at any age, and the condition is blow-your-mind amazing.

I use a natural deodorant - but that was because women have between 15 to 30 Lymph Nodes in their armpits.

How weird is this though, all women are different - it's not a one size fits all scenario.

You may have 15.  You may have 30.

However, all women in New Zealand do have one thing in common:

We have one of the highest rates of Breast Cancer in the World.

So I stopped using commerical deodorant, working on the theory that there most probably is a link between what women are putting in their armpits and Cancer.

I don't wait to be proved right these days.  I just made the change.

My favourite Shampoo bar

Conditioner bar

I use Halo when I want to switch shampoo's/conditioners as Ethique Shampoo and Conditioner bars are extremely different from Halo, which is more what you would get from a Hairdresser.

Shampoo and Conditioner bars are challenging to get used to, but once you do, OMFG they are amazing!

And my most favourite soap in the Universe!

So let me share with you two other natural remedies that I'm using right now:

1) Natural Spray for Fine Hair to build texture:

2x Soup spoons of Epsom Salts

1x teaspoon of Murray River Salt or Sea Salt (Murray River is always my go-to).

Put in spray bottle with boiling water.

Put on hair after you have washed and towel dried it.

** Do not use on hair which has dryness issues.

2) If you are having trouble with sinus and/or lots of mucus (like everyone in New Zealand right now because of the crap - maybe it's 25 degrees, maybe it's 10...weather), make this tea and drink it:

1x cinnamon stick

1/4 teaspoon of cloves

1/2 inch of fresh ginger - peeled and chopped.

3x cups of boiling water

I put everything into a teapot which has a strainer in it, leave for 15 minutes then drink throughout the day.

And let's not forget Reflexology, because, OMFG do you know what you can play round with in your body through your feet?

Wait...let me tell you:

Our feet have - 42 muscles, 26 bones, 33 joints, 250,000 sweat glands, 50 ligaments and tendons and 15,000 nerve endings.

I tell you what, this is one wild fucking ride, and I cannot believe it took me so long to do this.

Live your best, longest, happiest and healthiest life, babe.

Kissy hugs
