My Dad always used to say to me, Tania, everyone has the right to live their life however they choose.  As long as they're consenting adults, I don't care what they do. Then he would stop and take a breath... Until their choices start affecting my life and my family.  Then I have a problem with it.

I guess that kind of fits in with the Universes, Live and let live philosophy.

But anyway, it kind of stuck in my head and now I'm older, I've found that I live that attitude a lot. 

I mean, don't get me wrong, I've always been a, Do what you want kind of girl.  However, what I've found, is that often people want me to accept their decisions, or more to the point, the consequences of those decisions.  

I'm all for the first...

But, and forgive me for being a bit abrupt and to the point here, I'm not going to accept the consequence bit.  I'm not the girl who is going to sit in your misery with you, while you lament whatever current bad choice you have made.

No, no, I'm not that girl.

That doesn't mean I don't empathize with you though, it's just my empathy runs out about 1 minute 40.

Because I'm Free Choice girl.  I'm the girl that encourages you to live your life exactly the way that you wish. But I also want you to own it.  

And that means the consequences.

Because consequences are there for a reason.  So you can see whether you are on the right path.  Whether you are doing ok on your own personal yellow brick road.

A lot of times that is going to be Yes!  But sometimes it's not.

And it's at the not time, that you need to stop and take a breath.  

Because life is beautiful and strong, full of love and abundance and truly awesome people. Peeps that love you because of your quirks, not in spite of. And it is your Divine Right to have a life full of success and abundance, and to wake up every morning with someone who makes you feel fucking amazeballs.  

If this is not your reality, and it should be, but if it's not...you're doing something wrong.
