30 Sec's on....

I'm feeling in a little bit of a Witchy mood, so let's do some Witchy stuff.

Ok, first off, when you are doing a Cleansing and Clearing, getting rid of negative Energy around your home, you use a Sage Stick to smudge.

And I've used one for many years at home, because it dissolves the everyday build up of negativity.  You can't avoid having negativity come into your home however, using Sage makes sure that it doesn't stay, and eat at your table.

Sage also generates wisdom and clarity of thought, promotes healing, and invites abundance to enter your home and be part of your family.  In fact, the Latin word for Sage is Salvia - which stems from the word, to heal.

I love Sage.

But it is also endangered.  I've known this for months, well, actually months and months and months but, and forgive me for saying this, I want what I want.

And I want Sage.

Oh, c'mon now, don't you be rolling your eyes and Tut Tutting me.  You know me, and what I've just said is not surprising.

To be fair though, I did use every single bit I possibly could with my stick, but eventually, the inevitable happened, I ran out of Sage.

What to do...what to do...

So, I went down to my local shop thinking that I would just buy one more teensy, tiny Sage Stick.  Talking myself out of, We're actually using so much of it, it is now endangered, and translating to, I am a good person, doing good work and me using this is actually bringing in a really great, continuous and inspiring, Cycle of Life.

Man, I can talk when I put my mind to it.

But anyway, there I was having a little conversation with myself, when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a bit of wood...

This was good on a couple of levels because:

1) It was random wood, about the size of your first finger to the end of your palm and

2) It was calling me.

And Boom!

Welcome in Mr Palo Santo.

Mr Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America, and is related to Frankincense, Myrrh and Copal.  It is known as Holy Wood and has been used by the Incas for centuries. It has the most beautiful scent - it is sweet and deep and masculine.  It reminds me of being grounded but more than that, it reminds me of the Yin and Yang, Masculine and Feminine, Night and Day.

Of a mystical garden in the middle of a glade, and the Divine and quite absolute, Masculine light that not only guides our way, but calls us.

And Boom! I have a new love.

Will it replace Sage?

No, Sage will always hold a special place in my heart, but while Sage is growing in strength again, finding it's way back to life and learning how to breathe, then Mr Palo Santo will live in our home, and my heart.

Wishing you much love and abundance and a truly courageous heart.

T and Spirit
