I heard a really beautiful phrase the other day...

Maybe what's happening right now is not happening to you, but for you.

I know.  My thoughts exactly.

But when I thought about it, I realized that maybe there was a grain of truth in that sentence.

Because, literally, I have a destiny orientated weekend coming up.

I'm super happy to be doing it, of being a huge part of it and I wouldn't change it for the world.

But it's not been all roses and champagne, baby.  

And just when I've organised myself to be in the right headspace, all mojo-ing right and really excited, new less than exciting things keep coming up.

And I'm like, Really?

Then I'll go do some horse meditation (which roughly translates to going outside and talking with Caps until he's soothed my ruffled feathers), I'll be all tickety boo again, great things will be happening, and then Boom! 

And I'm like, Seriously, Spirit, will you cut me a break...

But Spirit are like, Nup...

And so, it would go, Stick...champagne...stick...champagne...

And then I heard that phrase, Maybe what's happening right now is not happening to you, but for you.

And it completely changed my attitude.  

Because you cannot take away who I am.

What I've accomplished.

What we've accomplished.

Not by words...

And not by actions...

Yip.  

Not to.

For.
