30 Sec's on....

You know, as much as I love my son, and I do, you can tell he's an only child.

No, no, don't you be shaking your head and tut tutting me, I swear, hand on heart, it's true.

But in the sake of fairness, let me tell you a story and then you make up your own mind...

So he's been texting quite a bit over the last week which I thought was nice, but a bit odd.  I mean, normally he's really busy, so if I get a text a week I count myself lucky. But no, there he was text chatting away.

But I didn't actually think too much of it, until I realized I had almost missed Easter.

I mean, I love Easter, so I was never going to totally forget it, but I had got the dates wrong and thought it was next week.

And that, my friend, is when I realized the texts had not been for nothing.

Because the young one's just turned 25.

Which is different to 24, where apparently, it is still socially acceptable to believe in the Easter Bunny.  Well, to be fair, I'm not sure he actually believes in the Easter Bunny as such, but he believes enough for a box of Easter Eggs to mysteriously turn up overnight.

And all the texts were to check in a round about way, that the Easter Bunny was still in play.  That Mr E.B. hadn't retired, because the young one loves Easter as much as I do.

Hot cross buns, butter, chocolate, eggs, friends and horses.  It's a lazy, magical time full of love, laughter and abundance of everything which is fabulous and right with our world.

But when we finally caught up and actually talked, he told me how worried he had been that we wouldn't celebrate the whole Easter Egg, chocolate love vibe now that he was officially an adult. That we would be mature, responsible and understand that Easter and particularly, hot cross buns dripping in butter and eggs full of chocolate and caramel, lazy days and good friends was too commerical, bad for the weight and a huge sugar overload...

That's a No.

Completely, utterly, 100% No.

Wishing you much love and abundance and a truly courageous heart.
