30 Sec's on....

You know, there is nothing that annoys me more, than when someone treats me as if I've been tapped with the stupid stick.

No really, nothing.

But stupid comes in many forms.

There's the natural kind.

Then you have the, I'd like to believe you...

And then there is the, I know this isn't true, but it works for me to trust you...

Which, in a round about way,  brings me to my pet dislike this week.

Drum roll please...Flavoured Sparkling Water.

Now, I know, this is such a silly thing to get upset about.  Well, it sort of is, and then it sort of isn't.

First off, we are all told to drink more water.  Most of us don't find water attractive and again, most of us, would prefer to drink something else. Coffee, tea, orange juice, tequilla...

But anyway, all jokes aside, water isn't the first choice for most of us.

Therefore I understand your desire to want to spice it up a bit.  And I get it, I do too.  But I am also aware of how much sugar goes into so much of what we eat and drink.  Most of it, we are unaware of.  So, I was hesitant about trying this.

However, I checked the label and what did it say, Carbonated Spring Water with Natural Flavours.

Cool!  Can't get into too much trouble with that.

Until I tasted it.

And you know what, tap tap, it tasted great.  I really loved it.  But as I was drinking it, I was squishing down that little voice (tap, tap, tap, tap) that kept wanting to pop up.

Do you know why?

Correct.

That voice (that eventually refused to stay silent) asked that one question that I did not wish to acknowledge.

Why, if this has berries and lemons, is it sweet?

I hate that voice some days.  It makes me deal with stuff I just don't want to deal with.

And it's on that note, I'm stuck.

No matter which way I peel the carrot, berries and particularly raspberries are sweet, juicy, delicious and tart.

Tap, tap.

Let me say this again...

Raspberries are sweet.  Then tart.  Then have a kick. Lemons are so bitter they will make your mouth pucker.

And there my friend, is where the problem lies.

This water, no matter which way you look at it, absolutely cannot have only carbonated water and natural flavourings of berries and lemon.

It is literally impossible.

My soul hurts.

Wishing you much love and abundance and a truly courageous heart.
