Today I want to talk about living your truth
People always talk to me about what they perceive is going on in their life, however, once we get down to brass tacks we often find that we are talking about something completely different. This happened today. I was speaking with a client who was in conflict and noticeably upset, however during our phone call it went from her conflict and what was going on in her life to this is your fault……oh no, no, no, no, no….that. does. not. happen. The call had turned into a Santa sack (Santa sack: previous conflict, hurt and pain that you carry round with you on a daily basis from your past (often for years) that instead of dealing with, letting go and getting on with it you lug around and when an opportunity arises you try and give to someone else in the form of aggression, abuse and put downs.) How did I know when the energy changed? The conversation went from “I want…” to “You don’t…” The only way to deal with a Santa sack is to stop immediately what you are doing ie: hang up or leave the room because conflict will esculate rapidly and in such a way that one or both of you will get hurt either by words and/or actions.
We have all had something from our past, that to be perfectly honest, sucks. But everyone does. Get on and get over it. You do not, ever, have to have conflict in your life. Remember? Other peoples external words and actions do not have to change your internal balance. Whether you are at peace or not is your choice - put kindness first, then refuse to accept anyone else’s Santa sack - only be responsible for who you are and the actions you make but remember taking responsiblity means for better or worse hunny bunnies!
Pasta for the soul
4 Large (you know the really big) mushrooms chopped small
1 pot of thickened cream
3 cloves of (fresh) garlic (don’t you dare use the stuff from the jar!)
4 Bay leaves (fresh) and a handful of fresh rosemary (the stalky kind)
Mix together in a saucepan to cook gently but do not boil
Boil fresh pasta - drain, mix with sauce and voila dinner - add a summer salad with it (you know the one with flowers), fresh ciabatta bread and (fresh) butter
lol Feeds the body and nourishes the soul - pretty good for the romance side of things too lol
Quote of the Day from he who cannot be name….Well, it’s like this. Women are attracted to me but sometimes they are shy, they don’t know how to step forward and tell me, so….(a little shrug here)…..I do it for them. lolollol I freaking love men.
