Well, well, well. After all the talking (and not much exercise) I have been doing over the last three weeks I do have to say I had been slightly concerned that all the hard work I had done in the past re food and gym was going to be all for nothing and I would have put back on all the weight. That was inaccurate. Two reasons why I have success at the moment:
1) I have dropped a notch on my belt again. Yah!!
2) For the third month running I am on a 28 day cycle. That is a huge achievement. This tells me that the wet/dry theory that I have been working with is accurate lol.
I did not weigh myself at the gym today because no woman in her right mind weighs herself when she is in that time of the month. Food today: brekkie - banana with mountain bread, snack - cappacinno, lunch - mountain bread stuffed with mince, garlic and onion with a little cheese, dinner (it was early) was lamb steak with eggs and snack - will be yoghurt raisins with dried figs. Two lots of exercise today: 1st - 30 laps swimming, 2nd - weights at gym. I suppose I better mention why chocolate seems to have taken a holiday from our home. Just before I had the operation chocolate started tasting a little odd, a bit weird I thought but nothing too serious but after the operation I didn’t want it. Period. So, I just haven’t bought it and I don’t seem to miss it. Maybe I fell into the same trap that I talk to you guys about - at all times question where your life is at and consistently re-assess your choices to make sure that they still work for you. When I stopped smoking I questioned everything else but because I had eaten chocolate for so long I didn’t question that, I just accepted it as something I do. Look at it this way…..maybe the benefits of chocolate cancel out the negatives of smoking…….not saying it does just asking you to question your beliefs…..
Happy thought of the day: Success happens on a daily basis ![]()
