I know that we all have the same 24 hours but I swear that some days it’s just not enough lol First things first, what an amazing game this morning with the S.A’s…go Blacks!! 4 hours after the game though the young one was rousing me for the Sunday morning rowing….after that awesome Gold from the twins he thinks he will be our next Gold in 2016 so is full of enthusiasm at the moment and then he informed me that straight after that he’s getting married! Rowing Gold + Marriage……Rowing Gold + Marriage…..Right. Random conversations in this household on a Sunday morning with my 14 year old son lol! Food today: lunch (breakfast and brunch were a non event because I literally went from one thing to the next) omelette and fried kumera and onions (I know, I know), snack - chips with a couple of beers (a friend came over with these snacks and a dvd) and a little chocolate, diner - dried figs and prunes. I work with the theory that all of today has been a bit random so plan to be back on track Monday. Tomorrow I will be looking further into the theory of what foods should be eaten with what and will let you know more as I know more but I can finally say that I am happy with my balance between wet and dry. It has been bloody hard work though! It is interesting that it has taken 2 weeks for the drugs to come out of my system and my body to re-balance back to where it was. It’s kind of scary when you think about it because think of all the drugs that people put into their body on a daily basis…..the pill, cold and flu tablets, pills to correct depression and all sorts of physical health issues but with every bit of medicine/pills you take it knocks the basic wet/dry balance in your body which means that you are consistently out of kilter - and often craving carbs to correct the wetness. That’s not cool. I would like to delve deeper into what foods (supposedly) do what so will have a look round and see what is available. Happy thought of the day Nothing beats a 14 year old being in love ![]()
