Horse Sense....

So Caps and I were standing at the gate this morning (having just finished a bit of a chitchat and touch) watching Elvis try to wiggle under part of the gate, to get to the other side.  Half the gate was open, he was trying to get under the part that wasn't.

He got stuck because he forgot he had grown.

Caps is like, He's not the smartest lamb chop in the freezer.

Silence, as we watched Elvis do the horizontal mamba.

But he's so damn cute...

Mares first fecal count is back...Zero worms!!

This is excellent news.

I also hung round and got Belle's poo today, and it's currently being examined.  This should be interesting because Belle is now 11 weeks old, has never been commerically wormed, and Mares and Belle have had 4 paddock changes since we started the wormer.  All of Belle's poo was picked up and processed though, so there can't be any mistakes of, We tested the wrong part of the poo.

The results we will get are accurate.  Belle was just over 400 when we first tested, and I'm expecting (with no scientific back up) 100 or less, possibly nil.

Watch this space.

LOVED the Inter Dom's tonight!

It was cool racing, great peeps and fantastic to finally meet Elsu, Nana's horse.

Lots of photo's of the young one and horse, pretty much none of anyone else, although to be fair, I see my stables family every day so you know...and I'm sooooooo excited the young one's home.

Anyway, my apologies for not photographing my stables family.  My bad.

However, it was a super cool night.

A weird thing happened today with Mares.  So there I am Touch/playing with Belle and I swear hand on hoof, Mares got jealous.  I mean, Belle loves our Touch/play and thinks fingers are the best thing EVER.  But for the first time I saw Mares go, She loves you more than me...  That's the last thing I want Mares thinking.  For us to have a partnership we need to value the differences we bring to the table.  But now I'm writing this, the last few days Mares has wanted Touch/play a lot.  I'll have a think about how to fix this.

So that's been our week:  It sounds really quiet, but it is anything but.  I'm interested to see how things pan out though, because there's just too many curves to see the final road at the moment.   Seriously, I'll be, This is where I'm going and the next minute there's a complete change. It's happening so quickly though, and there's no rhyme nor reason to it.  One minute things are one way and the next they are another.  It's scary in it's quickness and firey in it's intensity.  I haven't run like this before.

Actually, that's not true.  I have.  When I first started doing my radio shows I worked like this.  I was Reading live on air, to over 30,000 people. You don't make mistakes when you're working like that.  There's no room to, because you are going from one person to the next, to the next, to the next.  I learnt how to Read anyplace, anywhere, anytime.  How to compartmentalize, shut off all the external noise in the world, and play with Energy.

And that's what I've found myself doing again.

This journey is fucking cool, and I'm loving every day that I live.

Wishing you much love my friends and of course, my humans.

Caps, me, Spirit, Az, Ralph, Chew, Suz, Elvis and of course, my darling Mares, Belle and Little Boo

Belle's results came back...100.  I'm super stoked!  That's a fantastic end result.  Fingers crossed that I can do a little tweak here or there, and get her down to nil like Mumma.

** And I want to have a herb/native plant garden at home that the horses can freely graze on.  Well, technically how it works, is that there is a paddock that the horses are allowed into for 20 minutes, 2 or 3 times a week.  Unfortunately, the issue I have with this is that we're real short on water.  Not just today, but always, unless it is pelting down with rain for like 20 days straight.  Then we're fine for water for about 13 days.

Anyway, my neighbours are rockstars and give us their bore water all the time.  However, I don't know how I can consistently get water to a paddock to do what I want.

I'll have to shelve this for the time being, but that's my plan.

*** And another lot of good news...

I'm always trying new stuff, as you know, and last week I started this natural stuff which balances out the Acidic/Alkaline balance in the body.  Now I've heard a lot about this, particularly that it stops Cancer, as Cancer can only thrive when there is an Acidic/Alkaline imbalance.  But since I don't have Cancer nor deal with people who do, I can't comment.  I just don't know enough about the effects of Acidic/Alkaline and Cancer.

However, I am a HUGE advocate of healthy gut = healthy mind = healthy body, so I decided to give this stuff a go.

It works fantastically!

Not only am I dropping weight like rain, but I feel amazing.

Whoooooo, baby!
