Horse Sense....

Mares bloods are perfect.

Because I do my own vitamins and herbs as Mares and I talk about things, I decided that maybe I should get some bloods done, just so I know that everything's on track.

It is.

Mares vitamins and minerals are in perfect balance.

Go us.  Well, actually Go Mares! Clever little chicky babe that she is.

That bull is doing my head in!

I got up this morning early to do some work, walked into the kitchen and Hello! who do you think is happily grazing on my front lawn?

Correct.

Buzz.

And his girls.  Who he never ever is away from him.  It's like the Stepford Wives.

Anyway, then I had the pleasant job of moving them back into paddock in which NO ONE wanted to go into.  Then Buzz decided he wanted to go into the arena and hang out with the horses.  The horses didn't like this idea too much.  In fact, Az was sulking up at the top paddock and Caps just stood there glaring at me.

Everyone eventually sorted.  In arena.  Don't give me that look.

Anyway, it worked out that I had let Ralph and Chew out to wander the house all night and Buzz had seen them and gone, Oh, it's ok for us to spend the night outside the house, undone the bungy cord that I had around the gate/post, flicked the latch on gate and just hung out with the mini's and his girls all night.

I texted the young one and said the vet was coming today to de-ball him.

The young one called when he woke up.

Vet not coming.

Crap.  Crap.  Crap.  Crap.

Races were good.  Lots of people were chatting away to me and it was a huge amount of fun but all of a sudden I was like, I'm done and then there the horses and I were, talking and touching.

And cudddling.

One of the horses was cuddling me last night.

Sometimes I don't know who needs who the most.

So feeding time is a hoot here at the moment.

Caps runs all the horses.  However, Buzz-the-Bl**dy-Bull scares everyone apart from Az, who pretty much has found his mojo and eats not just his own food, but then heads towards the bulls food.  Caps then pushes Az out of the way.  Buzz and the girls just stand there looking, hoping that they leave them food (which they don't) and the little ones, Ralph and Chew are completely left out.  Peanut and Suz are in their own paddock and behave.

Out with the naughty stick.

And I stand there and make sure that everyone who should be eating (and that's everyone) is and no one gets left out.

Buzz likes the bottom of his horns rubbed while he eats.

Az stands there with hurt feelings and wounded pride, as if he was never going to eat anyone elses food, and I'm unreasonably blaming him for unblameworthy things.

He's adorable.

Caps just stands there looking at me with his big brown eyes.

The little ones are like, Just let us out, we'll get our own food...

Vet still not called but I do have the number on speed dial.

The food is working amazingly.  Sometimes I get caught with people adding stuff in with msg, numbers or bad sh*te that shouldn't be in food but mostly I'm doing ok, and it's working really well.

Mares Energy was a bit freaky today - high and intense - but she calmed down later.  And her temperature was off.  I was a little freaked out that she had lost her foal but she told me later not to be stupid, foal was fine.  However, something good came out of today.  You know how I always feed two buckets, one is her normal feed which never changes and the second one is mostly a normal feed, then I add one vitamin or mineral to it.  It lets me know whether she likes it or whether she reacts to it.  Works brilliantly.  Well, today she walked away from her bucket number 1 and was hunting round bucket number 2 for her Murray River Salt.  Excellent.

Now, I am well aware that the Murray River is brown and sludgy and quite nasty to look at but I promise you, there's something amazing vitamin or mineral wise that comes from that river.  I know that because of how it reacts so wonderfully well for me but it's working amazeballs for Mares.  I love it when I find something that works in such a fabulous way.

I don't know exactly what vitamin or mineral it is, I just know there's one.

Possibly two.

Lots of cool conversations are starting to happen.  It's a bit weird for me because well, I'm used to doing my stuff.  I'm not used to people not agreeing with me.  Well, I am but I'm not, if you know what I mean.  I'm not used to people not understanding things you can't see, touch or hear.  I guess because everyone who comes to me is already in that arena.  So, it's weird for me to work in a very regimented and scientific way.  However, I understand that people find my way just as odd.

Like some totally random, chaotic rainbow.  Or a little Tasmanian Devil-ey.

To be honest, I can be like that though.

The language of Touch is a language though and when Energy talks to me, it talks like you and I physically speaking and I can't change it, nor would I wish to, even if I could. It makes life exciting and challenging and magical.

Anyway, I've got off my subject, ultimately the base feed for Mares is just that, the base feed.  It's riding the Energy with all the extra vitamins and minerals which is where it gets exciting.

Energy is a living, breathing entity.

Click in, click on.

Anyway, Mares will just spit it out and refuse to eat anything she doesn't like. She doesn't care too much about what humans say.  And I'm open to trying something new, well not really, because we already have something super cool working.  However, I will give it a try.

And baby Mares is the size of a softball.

Hey baby! Looking forward to meeting you...

So, that's been our week:  Not only is Mares wanting everything I have, but naturally baby Mares and now humans.  What's with that?  Anyway, all jokes aside, I can come out and play for a little bit with humans, as long as they don't get too scary.

I would say, take what you need and leave the rest but this week I'm kind of like, If I have to take everything then so do you.

Wishing you much love my friends, and of course, my humans.

Caps, me, Spirit, Az, Ralph, Chew, Suzie Q, Peanut, Mares, baby Mares, Buzz, Fenny and baby Fenny, and of course, Flash and baby Flash.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Was feeding out banana this morning and Caps is just standing there, which was a bit weird, normally he's moving round the place, talking nineteen to the dozen.  I asked him what was wrong and he lifts his hoof and he's got it completely stuck in the hay net.  He's such a sweetie, he just stood there and chatted away while I untangled him.

** When the little ones want to come out, they scoot round to the arena gate and stand there patiently waiting.  They're deliciously cute and last but not least...

I was talking to a girlfriend today who often pops in when I'm not home and she was like, What's with this bull?  I don't see the horses but I look out over the deck and there he is looking at me.  He looks like he's talking with me.

Correct.

Or waiting to see the best angle to horn your a**.

*** The new base feed is not going to work, it smells wrong.
