Horse Sense....

 

 

 

So, Mares has a new party trick.  

Just to make sure I know that she doesn't want hay (she want's baleage), she throws all her hay out of her bucket and then kicks the bucket down to the bottom of the paddock.  Which is miles away.  Well, maybe not actual miles but not close.

Nice.

And Alex was good tonight, as per usual.  It was really interesting though, I was with a horse who was a little freaked out by all the busyness.  She raced, had her shower and towel down, and then I took her for a walk.  Now, you've heard me talk about the 1-2 game before.  You get insync with your horse and I don't know whether counting 1,2 makes a difference to my Energy or to the horses but it allows me to walk into the Silence and then Boom! the horse is walking with me.  Sometimes we fall out of sync but we never fall too far, think slipping and sliding rather than an actual fall.  I love this part of my work.  I love being able to cut out every single persons Energy and just be with the horse.  

But in having said, it's quite interesting because I literally stop being able to see people.  It's like Alice in Wonderland, I know there are people around but they're not there, if you know what I mean.  And now I've got my sh*te together, it's a really safe and uber cool place to be.  It used to freak me out because I couldn't flick from one frequency to another quickly or well and I felt vulnerable, but now I'm, Bring it, baby and I'm flicking in and out all the time.   

And the super good thing is that the people who know me, now know I'm not ignoring them, that I literally can't see you until you're in my face.  

That's why I need you to stand silently beside me, your Energy calls me, I flick back, and then (if I am lucky) I am able to touch you, which anchors me, and then I can start talking.  

I don't think I'm explaining this very well, so let me try again...  

Within seconds of me talking to a horse, I'm touching it and that's how the door opens for me.  Talking is the  knock and touch opens the door and then I'm tumbling and falling into the horses world.  

Coming back, the human Energy calls me but it can be bumpy coming back.  The easiest way is not to talk loudly at me but rather stand silently and wait.  Your Energy calls me back and it's kind of like coming down off a slide, there's a little bump at the bottom.  But if I'm lucky the person calling me, stands silently and just waits.  I flick back into the human frequency and if I'm super super lucky, I move my hand slightly and touch the human and it literally anchors me.  So, instead of the bump it's like a gently stop.  

If I'm unlucky the humans raises it's voice at me and I come back to someone calling, Tania!! Tania!! 

This door is one the weirdest things I've ever experienced but also one of the most beautiful.  

You know, it sounds a bit crazy writing this, but I love living and working like this, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Had a little issue later on when we got home, her friend was calling her because they don't like being separated.  So, while I was changing jackets over, she kicked me.  First time I've ever got kicked by a horse.  I'll have a nice bruise tomorrow.  However, I knew the Energy was too loud, I heard her friend calling and she was too excited.  So, you know, my bad for getting in the way. 

And if I've said it once, I've said it 10,000 times, Energy doesn't lie.

But on that note, I must be going too fast because my elbows playing up.  Read into that, that it aches like a b*tch first thing in the morning and I can't put any pressure on it.  I'm going to have to start doing something with it, because ignoring it isn't giving me my best end result.  I'm pretty sure I've just sprained it, maybe pulled something or...actually, I have no idea.  I don't remember hurting it.  

Anyway, Spirit will just be giving me a few nudges to slow the f*k down.  

But before you ask Why am I not putting my purple Anti-flam on?  Well, it's simple.  I touch the horses so much that I am paranoid about giving the horses a positive swab at the races.  And purple Anti-flam has a 7 day stand down period.  Which means you can't use it on a horse within 7 days of it racing.  

Did I mention I'm flying to Christchurch next Saturday/Sunday to see a stallion?

And  Don't.  Hit.  The.  F*cking.  Horse.  

It's not "The Real Horse Whisperer's Way", it just makes you look like a w*nker.

So, I took Spirits advice and spent a wonderfully relaxing weekend chillaxing in the sun with the horses and a good book.  I ate to sync my cycle and generally did nothing or saw no one, that I didn't want to.  Although to be fair I told Spirit to put the Do Not Distrub psychic sign out so people literally wouldn't come in.  A nice touch.

But what I noticed is that the food that I ate, I could relate to the Doctrine of Signatures.  

Remember?  

The way the food looks is what it heals in the body.  Eggs are a full and complete circle, for complete Wham! nutrients.  Everything you need in one meal is in one egg, which is kind of cool.  Spinach juice - boil it, then let it soak for about 10-12 minutes.  It goes this yellow kind of colour which reminds me of pee.  Spinach juice is a diuretic when you're holding onto water.  Oranges - for lifting of Spirit (Vitamic C), Grapefruit - for the tummy.  The bitterness gets the juices going in the right way, balancing out your tummy and so it went.  I love eating like this, it keeps me in sync with the world I walk in and it's cool to know, at all times, where my body is at.

Very cool weekend.

And I scared Mares half to death today.  I put her bucket too close to the electric fence while I went to get her big bucket that she had kicked down the bottom again and Hello! she lifted her head, hit the fence, then bucked, reared, kicked and bolted.  Scared me half to death.  However, we got it all sorted, and then had a little chit chat afterwards until we were both not scared.

We're learning.

So, that's been our week: There's some hugely great stuff happening and quickly, so, I'm trying to only listen to the rhythm of the world and walk with Spirit.  I did cancel a few things this week but only because I realized that I can't do everything, and I'm not going to fall into the trap of being everything to everybody.  I'm not.

* Cutie says, Hi!  

It's taken days for her to speak to me again.  She wasn't mad at me as such, she was p*ssed off that she had told me how it was with humans and I hadn't listened.  We cleared things up today though and we are back on track.  Or as much as we can be.  I can't touch her, but it's too late now anyway for an easy result, she's too sore and it's too hot.  

Always remember though, every day you know you have a problem with your horse and you don't fix it, it takes a day and a half to get back to where you were.

** I've just spent 1 hour and 12 minutes not catching Suzie.  

Just saying.

*** I went out this morning though and all the clan are standing in line, waiting at the fence, including Suzie Q who is looking at me with her big brown eyes, Morning Tania...

**** And one of our colts is crushing on one of the little fillies.  I didn't know until we were walking through the stables today, and he was like, She's so cute, Tania.  Do you think she likes me?  

He's adorable.

Little missy was like, Tarn, Tarn, tell him how fine I am.
