Horse Sense....

Ralph and Chew are in time out.

I know!

They're mischevious but it's rare that they are naughty, but they were today.

They know better than to go to the bins in the shed where I keep the food but they sometimes try and push the bins over to get a snack.  They get told off and normally after a little growl, they apologise and then go have a run round around the house and we're all good.

They did not today.

I put them one place and they just put themselves back into the shed, knocked over a bin, unlatched it and then ate nearly 1/4 of a large bin of Coolaide.

I was seriously unimpressed.  Chew got that maybe he had pushed the limits a bit, tried hiding (which didn't work) and I was so mad with them that I've put them in a separate paddock by the pond.  With no dinner.  Well, seriously, they didn't just eat their dinner but also everyone's elses and technicially they don't need another meal until July 25th.

Totally underwhelmed with them today.

Races were good tonight, I breathed with a horse.

It is one of my most favorite things ever to do because a) when the Energy is quiet and peaceful it's beautiful in it's depth and b) when the Energy is not you literally have a matter of minutes to get your sh*te together.

Both of these scenario's work for me.

But tonight it was B.  Naturally.  We were at the races.

So, there I was, jacket off, clicking in, clicking on. I stand on the left side of the horse facing forward with the horse.  My left hand is on the wither, my tummy is tucked in with theirs and my right hand is in that place it fits - where the hip bone would be on a person.  I personally believe it is their Central Nervous System and where all nerve endings and control thingymajiggy things are.

Anyway, then I start breathing.

And it's like riding Full Moon Energy.  You're ducking and diving, swooping and flying and you're all locked in together.  Think holding a tiger by the tail and then riding that tiger.  It's fu*king amazing.

Well, that's what I did tonight.

Ralph and Chew are very emotionative today.  I'm happy about this because I hate growling the horses, especially Chew and Ralph, because of their past.  Lots of snuggles and nuzzles.

I'm super happy with how everything is going.  Missy is really great.  We talk heaps, she's emotionative and participates.  I couldn't ask for more.  In where I see her going, we're 75% there.  That sounds like we have a big way to go still, but that's not true.  We're walking the Yellow Brick Road with the sun on our back and the ocean on the horizon, and my missing piece is in touching distance.

And the foals are brilliant.  I love the ones up the road and my tiniest one has taught me so much.  My other bigger one, has turned into a real beauty.  He is so brave and strong and courageous, and totally cute.  All of my foals bar one in the paddock and the two weaned ones are talking.  Very happy with everyone.  A few surprises - my little missy is impressive.  She has heart and the (almost) last one who wouldn't touch me has opened his door.  We should get some serious results in the next couple of weeks.

I'm really happy with how everything is going.  I would say, crossed fingers that it continues but there's no reason why it won't.

There's a horse/human door and it opens.

So, that's been our week.

Magic.  Spirit.  Horses.

Wishing you much love my friends and of course, my humans.

Caps, me, Spirit, Az, Ralph, Chew, Suzie Q, Buzz-The-Bl**dy-Bull, Fenny and Flash and 3 dead mice.

Sieve the pate before you put it in the fridge to set.  Makes it perfect.

** Caps has really grown to love being a country horse.

Let me tell you why...some friends came over yesterday so after they had said Hi! to the horses and given bananas, we had a bit of a human chit chat and a coffee inside and then headed back out to the horses.

So, there we were out in the welcome paddock brushing and grooming, patting, nuzzling and generally just loving, and the next minute some f*cking muppet is letting off a gun.  And there we are surrounded by Caps and Az and the little ones, no leads, no halters and there's a gun going off.

I swear to Spirit, hand on heart, Caps just stands there, ears pricked, on high alert and...that's it.

That's why you open the horse/human door.
